About the Role
The Keyholder leads sales floor operations, ensuring a positive customer experience aligned with Parachute's mission to help customers feel at home. This role involves building community, providing product expertise, and upholding brand standards as part of the store leadership team. Responsibilities
- Supports and leads a store culture aligned with Parachute Core Values.
- Delivers feedback and coaching as manager on duty.
- Drives engagement through collaborative work and maintains a positive work culture.
- Problem solves and addresses employee concerns at the store level.
- Shares observations with Store Manager regarding team, business, and community.
- Holds self and team members accountable to responsibilities and compliance.
- Ensures team utilizes training systems and completes training.
- Recruits talent in the local community and refers candidates.
- Upholds daily store operations and achieves Quarterly store KPIs.
- Communicates KPIs and identifies performance opportunities.
- Develops and coaches store team on product knowledge.
- Leads manager on duty shifts to ensure optimal customer experience.
- Communicates information to customers and models HOME selling skills.
- Participates in trade and community outreach, event planning, and activations.
- Understands basic store reporting to suggest revenue-driving outcomes.
- Resolves customer concerns to a positive outcome.
- Builds loyalty through in-store experience using CRM data capture and omni-channel solutions.
- Utilizes trade and design service tools for customer experience.
- Ensures accurate timekeeping and consistent meal/break procedures.
- Partners with Store Manager to solve scheduling and compliance problems.
- Upholds self and team to complete priorities set by Store Manager.
- Ensures all communications/messages/tasks are shared with the store team.
- Utilizes, trains on, and troubleshoots POS and reporting systems.
- Supports inventory operational excellence (returns, transfers, SFS, BOPIS, donations).
- Maintains accurate recordkeeping and adheres to inventory operations requirements.
- Ensures new hires complete required training.
- Maintains high standards of stock room/BOH area organization and safety.
- Communicates maintenance needs and utilizes Retail Support Ticket process.
- Follows Parachute Visual Merchandising strategy and executes visual operations standards.
- Maintains floor presentation.
- Evaluates sales and inventory levels to merchandise product for sales.
- Ensures brand integrity through presentation, product, and people.
- Maintains positive in-store experience through visual standards (product launches, window changes, signage).
- Supports store team in planning and executing store directives and merchandising needs.
- Shares awareness of store business trends and sell-through by category.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in retail, hospitality, customer service, showroom management, or related customer-focused environment.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with sales floor leadership team.
- Open availability (Full Time, 30-40 hours per week, including weekends and holidays).
- Ability to work in a flexible, customer-focused environment.
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 40 pounds occasionally.
- Frequently physically active, including standing, walking, reaching, and grasping for long periods.
- Ability to regularly bend or kneel.
- Ability to regularly climb ladders or step stools.
- Ability to go up and down stairs occasionally, carrying and moving boxes (depending on location).
- Ability to frequently communicate face to face, on the phone, or via electronic means.

- $22.00-$24.00 per hour
