Responsibilities
- Perform Leader on Duty responsibilities to foster a Customer First culture.
- Communicate expectations and ensure accountability for brand, performance, and behavior standards.
- Seek personal learning and development opportunities.
- Partner with store management to execute business plans, drive KPI results, and maximize opportunities.
- Assign individual goals, monitor performance, and provide coaching to associates.
- Drive brand loyalty by ensuring associates are knowledgeable about loyalty programs.
- Train, develop, and coach associate teams to create a Customer First culture.
- Motivate associates through feedback and recognition.
- Communicate associate performance issues to management for resolution.
- Maintain company brand standards (5 S’s).
- Execute strategic merchandising moves to maximize presentation and drive sales.
- Ensure consistent shipment processing and flow to the floor, maintaining stockroom SOP.
- Execute daily operational procedures and support management in audit compliance and loss prevention.
- Understand and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Open store Monday through Friday; close store Sunday through Wednesday when necessary.
- Complete cash refunds for returned merchandise.
- Process employee purchase transactions.
- Complete cash pay-outs for store purchases and services.
- Receive merchandise shipments and complete markdowns.
- Complete morning bank deposits.
Requirements
- Minimum High School education or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of retail experience or equivalent education.
- Team leader experience preferred.
- Flexible availability for store needs.
- Ability to receive feedback and take action.
- Demonstrated business acumen.
- Effective communication with customers and store team.
- Collaborative skills and ability to work in a team.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
- Ability to perform all Essential Job Functions.
