About the Role
Badger Toyotalift, part of the Atlas Companies, is seeking full-time Field and Shop Forklift Technicians. We welcome all experience levels to join our team and turn their passion for working on cars, forklifts, or other heavy equipment into a rewarding career.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair Toyota and other makes of lift trucks and heavy-duty material handling equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance per manufacturer specifications on material handling equipment, stackers, electric tow trucks, and transporters.
- Safely operate grinders, drill presses, air compressors, and other common hand and power tools in accordance with company safety standards.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products sold and serviced by Atlas.
- Maintain personal technician tools and equipment for safe and efficient daily operations.
- Complete service repair assignments in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Participate in monthly safety inspections and toolbox talks to promote a safe work environment and ensure compliance with company safety standards and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Possess a valid driver's license and maintain a good driving record.
- Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial or automotive equipment.
- Knowledge of hand tools and measuring devices.
- Willingness to learn and participate in ongoing training.
- Customer service oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage time and attendance, demonstrating self-motivation and minimal supervision.
- Ability to stand, bend, crouch, twist, pull, push, and lift up to 80 lbs (routinely 20-50 lbs).
- Regular travel within an assigned territory (for Field Technicians).
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle (for Field Technicians).
