About the Role

This role generates revenue through sales to new and existing key accounts within a geographic area or market. It involves collecting information to understand business issues, identify sales prospects, and prepare data for pricing and sales presentations. The role ensures sales plans and key account strategies are implemented to achieve sales and financial goals. Responsibilities include researching target prospects, developing pipelines, conducting penetration analysis for existing clients, identifying new business opportunities through cold calls, and nurturing relationships. The position acts as a front-line salesperson, creating and maintaining Strategic Sales Plans, closing sales, and designing solutions. It requires assessing customer businesses, recommending delivery options, and orchestrating internal resources to meet client objectives. The role also involves understanding industry dynamics, market trends, discussing product offerings, and supporting negotiations for agreements.

Responsibilities

  • Generate revenue through sales to new and existing key accounts.
  • Collect information to understand business issues and identify sales prospects.
  • Prepare quantitative, qualitative, and financial data for pricing and sales presentations.
  • Ensure sales plans and key account strategies are implemented to achieve sales and financial goals.
  • Research target prospects and develop pipeline in assigned territory or accounts.
  • Conduct penetration analysis and review client strategy for existing clients.
  • Identify business opportunities and conduct cold calls for new sales.
  • Handle accounts for the North America Segment (typically 100k or less, e.g., small community banks or credit unions).
  • Lead work for smaller Merchant Segment customers (e.g., ISOs or Bank Acquirers with 10k or less Merchants).
  • Act as a front-line salesperson.
  • Nurture old and new relationships and execute cold call plans.
  • Develop understanding of the territory and determine appropriate client contacts.
  • Create, maintain, and sustain Strategic Sales Plan (SSP) for identified top prospects.
  • Close sales.
  • Create solution design plans.
  • Assess customer's business and review solution design options.
  • Create and modify sales project plans with the intent to close the sale.
  • Conduct stage assessments.
  • Identify and orchestrate internal resources (pricing, IT, implementation) to meet client objectives.
  • Conduct ongoing communication with internal groups and request assistance for sales project plans.
  • Understand industry dynamics and key market trends.
  • Discuss current and developing product offerings with clients.
  • Participate in consultative thought leadership with prospects.
  • Support negotiation of master agreements and service level agreements.
  • Manage sales presentations and sales processes.
  • Identify internal resources to attend prospect meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Relevant Experience or Degree in Communication, English, IT, or Engineering
  • Combination of relevant training and/or experience in lieu of degree
  • Minimum 2-3 Years Relevant Experience
  • Experience in industry
  • US based
  • Legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for current or future immigration sponsorship

Salary/Compensations

  • $85,000 - $95,000 base salary
  • Additional commission compensation
  • First-year commission average: $30,000 - $70,000+ (for top 25%)
