About the Role

Pallet is hiring Product Engineers to leverage generative AI for logistics efficiency, building and customizing AI solutions for enterprise clients. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and industry leaders to shape the future of logistics AI development and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Build and own core product features for AI agents.
• Act as a liaison between engineering and customers, translating business needs into scalable software.
• Design and implement data pipelines and backend systems for millions of users.
• Ship end-to-end features in a SaaS environment.
• Collaborate on architecture, product decisions, and technical direction.
• Define product engineering standards as an early team member.
• Bridge the gap between customers and the AI platform.
• Customize solutions for enterprise clients.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build AI products.
• Shape the future of logistics AI.

Requirements

• 4+ years of backend or full-stack experience with product or infrastructure ownership.
• 6+ years of experience with architectural ownership, system quality, and maintainability (for Senior level).
• Strong backend and systems engineering fundamentals.
• Experience owning core product or infrastructure in a SaaS or platform environment.
• Focus on reliability, performance, and architecture.
• Comfortable in a fast-moving, in-person startup environment.
• Willingness to work in the office 5 days a week in San Francisco or New York.
