About the Role

A family is seeking an exceptional ROTA nanny for two children, aged 7 and 4. The role involves a 14-day on/off schedule with flexibility for travel. Previous rotational experience is not required, but a positive, pitch-in attitude is essential. The ideal start date is June 15th-17th.

Responsibilities

  • Support the health, well-being, and happiness of two children.
  • Provide proxy parenting, managing children's lives and schedules.
  • Assist with morning and evening routines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of children's areas.
  • Perform school drop-offs and pick-ups as needed.
  • Accompany children to activities, play-dates, appointments, and outings.
  • Coordinate schedules for meals, activities, and travel.
  • Manage household tasks and errands when children are at school.
  • Handle laundry and ironing for the children.
  • Create a positive environment fostering independence, good manners, and responsibility.
  • Prepare vegetarian meals, snacks, and lunchboxes for the children.
  • Support homework and extra-curricular activities.

Requirements

  • Takes initiative and plans engaging activities for children.
  • Partners seamlessly with hands-on parents.
  • Understands behavioral milestones and child development.
  • Engages with children at their level and encourages learning through play.
  • Possesses considerable experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrates a positive, 'can-do' mindset with a kind, considerate approach.
  • Willing to pitch-in and support the family with household tasks and errands.
  • Comfortable tag-teaming with parents.
  • Has excellent communication and collaborative skills.
  • Comfortable in both structured and flexible environments.
  • Highly organized, full of initiative, and able to plan ahead.
  • Possesses a valid UK passport or work authorization.
  • Able to travel with the family.
  • Comfortable in shared-care and sole-charge situations, including overnight and proxy parenting.
  • Safe, confident driver with a clean license.
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children.
  • Maintains boundaries and gentle discipline.
  • Intuitive understanding of when to step back or forward.
