About the Role

This role involves assisting in research on financial products, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing administrative support to a financial advisory team. The position offers opportunities for career growth and client-focused work.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in conducting research on financial products, including investment packages, pension schemes, and insurance plans.
  • Ensure all financial advice adheres to UK Financial Conduct Authority regulations.
  • Develop and implement administrative policies and procedures to improve the firm's efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage confidential files and maintain a clean and organized office environment.
  • Provide administrative support to advisers, paraplanners, and the wider team, including producing applications and packs for clients, and drafting correspondence.
  • Coordinate with various providers, networks, and clients to ensure smooth communication and coordination of activities.
  • Plan and organize events, meetings, and other activities as required.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of tax, trusts, various wrappers, and investment principles.
  • Excellent organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the firm.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Works well in a team.

Work Type

  • £35,000 – £55,000
