About the Role

The Maintenance Technician assists with the community's maintenance program, preserving asset value and maintaining the interior and exterior physical condition. This role requires a customer service-driven team player.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, professional, and OSHA-approved work environment.
• Assist with maintenance operations and property repairs.
• Monitor inventory of parts and supplies.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Report time and attendance.
• Conduct daily inspections of the community.
• Understand and adhere to Landmark Properties policies and procedures.
• Ensure confidentiality of resident and company information.
• Understand and exceed resident needs and expectations.
• Develop a sense of community among residents and staff.
• Maintain active and effective communication with residents and parents.
• Foster a positive community environment and encourage event participation.
• Assist with organizing and implementing successful turns.
• Complete service requests in a timely manner.
• Be available for emergency calls on weekends and after hours.
• Understand, communicate, and enforce community safety, emergency, and fire evacuation policies.
• Provide emergency response and referral services.
• Document and address resident behaviors that violate the law or lease agreement.
• Identify and address safety and security risks.
• Inspect the physical condition of the property and report issues.

Requirements

• 2 years’ experience with electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Computer literacy preferred.
