About the Role

Stephenson’s Rental Services is a Canadian owned and operated leader in the equipment rental industry, fueling projects and powering progress. We are seeking hands-on, team-focused individuals to join our family in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform general housekeeping, equipment cleaning, and yard organization.
• Maintain upkeep and cleanliness of the shop and yard.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any defects or damages.
• Perform cycle counting of inventory.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Clean and wash equipment.
• Prepare new fleet for rental.
• Become familiar with equipment components to ensure accurate order processing.
• Interact with co-workers, other store employees, and external customers/suppliers at the highest standard.
• Wear the approved Company uniform at all times while on duty.
• Complete assigned tasks and coordinate work functions with co-workers.
• Pick and pack orders for delivery and pickup.
• Occasionally accompany drivers on pickups or drop-offs.
• Adhere to all Company safety standards.
• Use personal protective equipment as required.
• Maintain knowledge of relevant legislated standards, such as WHMIS and Transportation of Dangerous Goods.
• Promote safety to all staff, customers, suppliers, and contractors.
• Report workplace hazards and assist in their elimination.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Ensure safety is the number one priority by following Safety Commitments, PPE requirements, SOPs, and Policies.
• Report unsafe working conditions and ensure adherence to PPE and SOPs/policies.

Requirements

• Valid G-Class Driver’s License with clean abstract preferred.
• Basic technical and troubleshooting skills are an asset.
• Interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to deal effectively with customers in person and on the phone.
• Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
