About the Role

As an Account Executive, you will manage a book of business, nurture client relationships, and identify growth opportunities. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met and providing exceptional service.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with assigned clients, acting as their trusted advisor.
  • Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, including renewals, endorsements, and policy changes.
  • Assess client needs and recommend appropriate insurance products and services.
  • Prepare and present insurance proposals, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
  • Collaborate with underwriters and other internal teams to secure optimal coverage for clients.
  • Conduct regular account reviews to ensure client satisfaction and identify potential cross-selling opportunities.
  • Resolve client inquiries and issues promptly and professionally.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Participate in professional development activities to enhance insurance knowledge and skills.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the agency management system.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial insurance account management or a similar client-facing role.
  • Active Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license required.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with agency management systems (e.g., Applied Epic, AMS360) is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional client service.
