About the Role
Neighbourly Pharmacy is seeking a Part-Time Pharmacist to join the team at Medical Pharmacy in Toronto, Ontario, focusing on patient-centered care and clinical services.
Responsibilities
- Deliver clinical services such as medication reviews, chronic disease management and care plan development.
- Administer vaccines and immunizations.
- Determine appropriateness of drug therapy and monitor for effectiveness, side effects, and interactions.
- Counsel patients on prescriptions, over-the-counter products, and health-related topics, including indications, contraindication, side effects, and proper usage and storage.
- Supervise pharmacy students or provisional pharmacists in performing restricted activities.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, provincial, and regulatory standards governing pharmacy practice.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Assist with daily pharmacy operations and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Licensed and in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacist.
- Injection certification is required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a team environment.
