About the Role
We are seeking talented lawyers and experienced lecturers passionate about delivering an outstanding student experience to join our Academic Law Team at our London, Bloomsbury campus. This is an opportunity to shape the next generation of legal professionals.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching and support for learning, working collaboratively with colleagues to continuously enhance teaching and student support.
- Assess student work and progress through the preparation and marking of formative and summative assessments, and providing constructive feedback and feedforward.
- Identify the need for developing the content, structure, and assessment within modules with colleagues and make proposals on how this should be achieved.
- Contribute to effective design and review of inclusive learning.
- Maintain quality standards and regulations in curricular design.
- Act as a module lecturer, academic coach and sign-post students on pastoral aspects during their learning journey.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent in a relevant subject
- Fellowship of Advance HE (HEA) or equivalent or willingness to work towards
- Relevant teaching qualification or willingness to work towards PGCHE
- Postgraduate qualification or equivalent in a relevant subject (for Senior Lecturer)
- Fellowship of Advance HE (HEA) (for Senior Lecturer)
- PgCHE or equivalent (for Senior Lecturer)
- Must be able to prove the right to work in the UK
Skills
- Canadian Law experience
- Ability to design and deliver high-quality teaching programmes
- Ability to provide impactful student support
