About the Role

As a Specialist Sales Planner / Master Data, you will be responsible for maintaining and updating item master data within the JD Edwards system, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and timeliness. You will act as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting issues related to item management and collaborate closely with Category Managers, Finance, and Marketing departments on data-related matters. Additionally, you will coordinate with suppliers to obtain accurate product data and contribute to process improvements and master data governance initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, manage, and update item master data in the JD Edwards system.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of all master data.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for troubleshooting item management issues.
  • Collaborate with Category Managers for price adjustments and promotions.
  • Support Category, Finance, and Marketing departments with master data topics.
  • Build and maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for accurate and timely product data.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training materials.
  • Identify optimization potential and lead process improvements.
  • Participate in Master Data Governance initiatives for standardization and automation.

Requirements

  • Relevant degree in Economics, Business, Supply Chain, or a comparable field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Ideally, knowledge of project management.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the FMCG or retail sector.
  • Passion for structured master data maintenance, data quality, and efficient processes.
  • Motivation to collaborate closely with Category, Finance, Marketing, and suppliers.
  • Proactive contribution to improving workflows, standards, and training materials.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and structured work approach.
  • Responsibility for assigned tasks.
  • Ability to bring together various stakeholders.
