About the Role
Little Ruby’s is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Busser to support the front-of-house team and ensure the dining room runs smoothly. This role is key to guest satisfaction by resetting tables, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting servers.
Responsibilities
- Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently during service
- Deliver and refill water for guests
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, chairs, banquettes, and surrounding areas
- Support servers with table maintenance and guest needs
- Keep side stations stocked and organized
- Perform opening and closing side work, including wiping down and setting tables, stocking supplies, and cleaning designated areas
- Mark tables for courses when needed
- Follow all sanitation standards and Department of Health guidelines
- Communicate effectively with front- and back-of-house teams
- Participate in pre-service meetings and ongoing training sessions
- Report any damage or breakage immediately to management
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive, team-oriented attitude
Requirements
- Previous experience as a busser in a high-volume restaurant or lounge preferred
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active environment
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
