You will provide professional, organizational, and people leadership for multiple software development teams, fostering a culture of innovation and proactive ownership. You will drive development strategies focused on SaaS architectures and cloud technologies while establishing AI-native engineering as a standard to improve productivity and healthcare outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional, organizational, and people leadership for multiple software development teams
- Build a culture of innovation, collaboration, mentoring, and proactive ownership
- Define and drive development strategies focusing on robust SaaS architectures and cloud technologies
- Establish AI-native engineering as a standard using agents, workflows, and pipelines
- Make AI-driven productivity gains measurable across teams
- Ensure processes, quality, and security standards meet healthcare regulatory requirements
- Synchronize product requirements with business-area objectives
- Mentor engineering leaders
- Communicate progress, risks, and innovations to executive management
Requirements
- Extensive experience in software development leadership roles
- Experience in the SaaS domain
- Track record of successful delivery in cloud environments
- Excellent university degree in computer science, software engineering, medical informatics, or a comparable technical field
- Strong technical acumen in SaaS architecture, cloud and distributed systems, security, and quality automation
- Proven track record of driving AI adoption in engineering teams
- Hands-on familiarity with agentic tooling such as Claude Code
- Deep experience with Agile methodologies and Lean Management principles
- Excellent English and very good German language skills
