About the Role

Inspire a team, grow a centre, and change children’s lives by supporting the day-to-day running of a thriving education centre. Work closely with the Centre Manager to lead a team of Tutors and grow the centre through new member acquisition and by delivering exceptional service for families. This role offers a clear progression pathway to Centre Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Drive membership growth through community engagement, local partnerships, and marketing events.
  • Maximize profitability through debt and revenue management and optimizing staff efficiency.
  • Deliver excellent family and member experiences from first enquiry through to long-term progress.
  • Manage day-to-day operations to ensure the centre runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Tutor team to deliver outstanding learning experiences for members.
  • Champion safeguarding by prioritizing the safety and wellbeing of every child in your care.
  • Role model excellent tutoring and coach the team, supporting members to achieve real progress in maths and English.
  • Monitor and celebrate member progress, holding meaningful conversations with families about achievements and next steps.
  • Build the centre’s reputation through local brand presence, community engagement, and sales activation.
  • Host trial sessions, manage enquiries, and new member experience, ensuring every family feels welcome and supported.

Requirements

  • Passionate about education and working with children.
  • Excited to take ownership of goals, drive progress, and tackle challenges head-on.
  • Communicate clearly, confidently, and with impact.
  • Balance multiple priorities while staying calm in a fast-paced environment.
  • Give and receive feedback openly and committed to self-development.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Provide a full employment history with all gaps clearly explained and evidenced where required.
  • Satisfactory references and an Enhanced DBS check.

  • £27,000 PA
  • Additional London weighting uplift of £1000-£3500
