About the Role
As a Market Manager for Hotels, you will ensure the health and expansion of supply in the DACH and CEE region. You will oversee supply acquisition, manage strategic hotel partnerships, and develop localized strategies to enhance Airbnb's market presence.
Responsibilities
- Build, manage, and expand partner relationships to surpass quarterly sales targets.
- Conduct regular optimization calls and business reviews with partners.
- Provide exceptional, timely service to hosts, including in-person support.
- Implement strategies to manage and optimize the long tail of hotels in the region.
- Prospect and onboard new, high-quality supply.
- Educate clients on product updates and provide feedback to internal stakeholders.
- Leverage data to identify and pursue strategic growth opportunities.
- Develop and implement unique engagement projects using an entrepreneurial approach.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, communications, public policy, legal, tax, and customer support teams.
- Monitor local market trends to inform internal and external stakeholders.
- Represent the company in external meetings and industry conferences.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in new sales, account management, and partner support.
- Proven track record of managing a leads pipeline and book of business.
- Proficient quantitative skills with the ability to interpret and apply data.
- Ability to work at both strategic and tactical levels in ambiguous environments.
- Proven experience working cross-functionally.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Resourceful self-starter with strong time management and prioritization skills.
- Highly proficient in CRM software.
- Fluent in English and German.
- Based in Berlin with willingness to travel internationally every 4 to 6 weeks.
