About the Role
Join our team as a Group Reservation Agent, contributing to team success through responsibility and commitment. Benefit from short decision-making paths due to flat hierarchies, allowing active participation in shaping our establishment.
Responsibilities
- Handling and processing of group reservations
- Maintaining reservation data in the PMS system
- Providing telephone consultations on the location, amenities, and services of individual properties
- Selling rooms with the goal of revenue optimization
- Actively managing room occupancy through targeted category sales to increase revenue
- Close collaboration with Front Office departments, as well as Meeting & Events and Sales, for the handover and coordination of group arrivals and VIP guests
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in the hotel industry and experience in reservations, ideally with groups
- Enjoy interacting with people
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Solution-oriented approach, with independent and responsible work habits
- Flexibility (various shifts between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM)
- Very good German language skills, written and spoken (minimum C1)
Skills
- Hotel software Guestline knowledge is an advantage, but not a requirement
