Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate trade capture, risk management, and regulatory compliance for OTC equity derivatives and cash equities.
  • Work closely with traders, operations, and other stakeholders to resolve queries and support new business initiatives.
  • Contribute to process improvements and project management across local, regional, and global initiatives.
  • Capture trades for OTC derivatives and cash equities executed by the Tokyo trading desk.
  • Ensure risk is accurately reflected in the risk management system.
  • Monitor and address control breaks promptly.
  • Prepare and submit regulatory reporting as required.
  • Respond to ad hoc queries from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Drive and implement process improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze and support new business initiatives.
  • Manage projects related to end-to-end reviews, efficiency realization, and new initiatives at local, regional, and global levels.
  • Collaborate with traders, operations, and other teams to resolve issues and support business needs.
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy and control in all processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Financial Services Industry
  • Excellent prioritization and multitasking skills
  • Business Proficiency in Japanese and English
  • Strong communication skills, with ability to develop effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Attention to detail and strong numerical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
