About the Role

Oversee core HR functions including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits, compliance, performance management, HR operations, and culture development. Serve as a trusted partner, providing HR guidance, ensuring policy application, and driving people solutions to support organizational effectiveness and employee engagement in a manufacturing and regulated environment. Maintain workforce readiness, compliance, accountability, and operational excellence, supporting PRL’s mission to transform global wellness.

Responsibilities

  • Provide HR guidance on employee relations, performance management, policy interpretation, corrective action, and workplace concerns.
  • Lead employee relations activities, including investigations, conflict resolution, documentation, and manager coaching.
  • Oversee full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning for various roles.
  • Manage onboarding processes, documentation, training, and system setup for new hires.
  • Oversee payroll administration and timekeeping for accurate processing, compliance, and issue resolution.
  • Partner with Finance and vendors for payroll reconciliations, reporting, audits, and process improvements.
  • Administer employee benefits, leave programs, accommodations, and open enrollment, ensuring compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and maintain HR policies, records, and documentation for audit readiness.
  • Support performance management, employee development, training, succession planning, and leadership coaching.
  • Partner with Operations and leaders for workforce planning, employee engagement, retention, attendance, and HR support in manufacturing.
  • Maintain HRIS, payroll, and reporting systems; analyze workforce metrics and recommend process improvements.
  • Support and promote a positive workplace culture aligned with company mission, values, and goals.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • 2+ years of HR leadership, management, or supervisory experience (preferred).
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, production, warehouse, operations, quality, laboratory, nutraceutical, dietary supplement, food production, healthcare, or regulated environments (preferred).
  • Strong experience in employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, payroll oversight, benefits administration, leave management, performance management, and HR compliance.
  • Experience supporting hourly, non-exempt, and multi-department workforces.
  • Proficiency with HRIS, payroll, timekeeping, benefits, and applicant tracking systems.
  • Experience with Paycom, UKG, NetSuite, Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter, or similar platforms (preferred).
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills for HR reporting, workforce tracking, payroll review, reconciliation, and data analysis.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and related business tools.
  • Knowledge of employee relations and workplace investigation.
  • Knowledge of recruiting and talent acquisition.
  • Knowledge of payroll oversight and timekeeping compliance.
  • Knowledge of benefits and leave administration.
  • Knowledge of FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, Title VII, harassment prevention, and wage and hour compliance.
  • Knowledge of performance management and corrective action.
  • Knowledge of HR documentation and audit readiness.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing, hourly, and non-exempt workforce support.
  • Ability to pass a background check.

Education Level

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field (preferred)
  • Equivalent combination of education and progressive HR experience may be considered
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification (strongly preferred)
