About the Role

We are seeking a commercially curious, AI-enthusiast intern to join our Trading team. You will take ownership of client relationships in the DACH region, working directly with the Head of Sales and Steel Trader. This role offers hands-on exposure to live steel deals from day one, with the opportunity to manage real accounts and gain end-to-end deal ownership. Successful interns have a direct path to a permanent Account Manager position.

Responsibilities

Manage and support existing DACH client relationships (buyers and suppliers) with growing autonomy.
Coordinate active deals with the Operations team for smooth execution and logistics.
Conduct targeted outbound outreach (cold calls, emails) to expand the DACH client base.
Maintain and manage the pipeline in HubSpot, ensuring CRM cleanliness.
Analyze pricing inputs and market signals to support deal decisions.
Actively use AI tools to improve workflows, research, and client communication.

Requirements

Native German and business-level English proficiency.
Genuine enthusiasm for AI and technology; active use and desire to build with AI tools.
Entrepreneurial mindset; ability to create structure.
Based in Berlin or willing to relocate.
Valid right to work in Germany.
Available full-time (40 hours/week).
First experience in sales, trading, consulting, B2B, or client-facing roles (nice to have).
Familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM tools (nice to have).
Interest in commodities, industrial markets, or supply chain (nice to have).
