About the Role

This role is responsible for shaping project design strategy, planning, and delivery to meet agreed time, quality, and budget targets. You will lead and coordinate internal and external design teams, manage consultant appointments, senior stakeholder engagement, and client relationships. Additionally, you will provide leadership on design governance, performance reporting, and continuous process improvement, while overseeing day-to-day design management operations and supporting business development. You will also champion best practice, training, and net-zero carbon principles.

Responsibilities

Manages consultant appointments, senior stakeholder engagement, and client relationships across all workstreams.
Provides leadership on design governance, performance reporting, and continuous process improvement.
Oversees day‑to‑day design management operations and supports business development activities.
Champions best practice, training, and net‑zero carbon principles throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

Manage engineering frameworks and client‑side assurance during construction.
Lead delivery of EM services and execution planning.
Drive and guide multidisciplinary technical design teams.
Bring strong aviation programme experience and major programme leadership.
