About the Role
As an Associate Director, you will lead the development and execution of the marketing vision for the Neurology portfolio, building long-term brand strategies, identifying new market opportunities, and aligning with global and local business objectives. You will lead cross-functional teams including Sales, Medical, and Access to drive integrated brand plans and maximize patient impact. You will represent the business unit in internal and external meetings and forums, build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and key stakeholders, and proactively address market challenges. Additionally, you will drive the achievement of business goals through innovation in digital and omnichannel marketing, lead new product and new indication launches, and ensure accurate forecasting and resource planning.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies for the Neurology brand portfolio, aligning with global and local objectives.
- Oversee brand planning, positioning, and lifecycle management, fostering collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Medical, and Access.
- Identify and evaluate new market opportunities and proactively address market challenges.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, healthcare professionals, and external partners.
- Maximize ROI through marketing budget management, resource allocation, and performance tracking.
- Lead the launch of new products and new indications, including the development and execution of Go-to-Market plans.
- Drive innovation in digital and omnichannel marketing, introducing new technologies and methodologies.
- Oversee sales and demand forecasting, ensuring accuracy through collaboration with relevant departments.
- Ensure compliance with internal regulations, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all marketing activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Over 5 years of marketing experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including Neurology or specialty areas.
- Experience with digital transformation and omnichannel strategies.
- Experience in brand management and leading cross-functional teams.
- Strategic thinking, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Business-level English and Japanese proficiency.
