About the Role

Mollie Stone’s Markets is seeking a Part-Time Wine and Spirits APC Clerk for its Pacific Heights location. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for and experience in wine and specialty spirits, a drive to expand product knowledge, and a commitment to providing a tailored shopping experience. A love for food and grocery is also essential, as the All Purpose Clerk (APC) is a versatile team member who may assist in Cashiering or other departments based on store needs.

Responsibilities

Assist customers with questions while providing exceptional customer service.
Remain current and continually expand knowledge of wine and spirits to inform and educate guests, and provide suggestions and pairing ideas with food.
Merchandise and maintain correct signage throughout the department.
Stock and face shelves, coolers, and displays.
Perform inventory control.
Transport merchandise from storage areas and the sales floor.
Assist in other departments if needed and perform cashiering duties.

Requirements

Minimum 2-3 years of retail experience with a focus on wine/spirits.
Ability to develop product knowledge and stay current.
Ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
Self-motivated and energetic.
Willingness to be cross-trained in other departments.
Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
Local candidates only.
Must be able to regularly lift at least 50 lbs.
Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per day.
Ability to walk for up to 8 hours per day.
Ability to reach for up to 4 hours per day.
