About the Role
This role involves building and leading 'Million Dollar Nurse,' a new YouTube channel dedicated to career advancement for nurses and caretakers. The channel aims to become a primary resource for nurses, expanding into a newsletter, community, and free resource hub. The successful candidate will drive this vision both behind the scenes and on camera.
Responsibilities
- Run the YouTube channel from ideation to production.
- Lead the content team, including a scriptwriter and editor.
- Serve as the on-camera host for daily shorts and weekly long-form videos (3-4 hours per week).
- Develop and execute the content strategy, including topic selection and angles.
- Manage end-to-end production, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Collaborate with the head of social to analyze performance data and optimize content.
Requirements
- Possess a magnetic on-camera presence, conveying a warm, genuine, and trustworthy mentor persona.
- Demonstrate curiosity and a fast learning ability across finance, content, YouTube growth, team management, and audience understanding.
- Exhibit strong operational skills to manage contractors and production flow.
- Show a deep care for the nursing audience.
- Have an interest in personal finance and the ability to quickly learn about financial tools for American nurses.
