About the Role

This role is an opportunity for someone early in their partnerships journey, or coming from Account Management, Sales or Events, to bring their relationship-building skills into a purpose-driven space. You will manage and develop relationships with corporate partners, support fundraising events, and contribute to campaigns that brighten the lives of sick kids.

Responsibilities

  • Building and nurturing strong relationships with corporate and community partners
  • Identifying and securing new business opportunities
  • Supporting and leading fundraising events and activations
  • Presenting to corporate groups and negotiating partnership agreements
  • Collaborating across teams to bring campaigns and projects to life
  • Representing Starlight at events (with occasional evening/weekend sparkle)

Requirements

  • Experience in Partnerships, Account Management, Sales, Events or similar
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Confidence presenting and negotiating with stakeholders
  • Strong organisation and time management
  • MS Office and CRM/database proficiency
  • Event coordination and stakeholder engagement experience
  • Fundraising experience is desirable
  • A collaborative spirit and a can-do attitude
  • Successful applicants will undertake a Working With Children Check and a National Police Check
