About the Role
This role is an opportunity for someone early in their partnerships journey, or coming from Account Management, Sales or Events, to bring their relationship-building skills into a purpose-driven space. You will manage and develop relationships with corporate partners, support fundraising events, and contribute to campaigns that brighten the lives of sick kids.
Responsibilities
- Building and nurturing strong relationships with corporate and community partners
- Identifying and securing new business opportunities
- Supporting and leading fundraising events and activations
- Presenting to corporate groups and negotiating partnership agreements
- Collaborating across teams to bring campaigns and projects to life
- Representing Starlight at events (with occasional evening/weekend sparkle)
Requirements
- Experience in Partnerships, Account Management, Sales, Events or similar
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Confidence presenting and negotiating with stakeholders
- Strong organisation and time management
- MS Office and CRM/database proficiency
- Event coordination and stakeholder engagement experience
- Fundraising experience is desirable
- A collaborative spirit and a can-do attitude
- Successful applicants will undertake a Working With Children Check and a National Police Check
