About the Role
Riverbend Church & Centre seeks friendly, reliable temporary golf cart/valet drivers for large events. Drivers will safely transport guests, provide directional assistance, and create a welcoming first impression.
Responsibilities
- Perform valet duties in pickup and drop-off areas, including greeting guests, assisting with personal mobility devices, and providing information and directions.
- Provide excellent customer service and hospitality.
- Safely operate golf carts to transport guests between parking lots and campus venues.
- Assist with guest arrival and departure flow.
- Support event teams with arrival and departure traffic flow and manage event parking signage.
- Ensure golf carts are clean, properly operating, and equipped with necessary supplies.
- Report any repair or cleanliness issues to the event manager.
Requirements
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Able to lift overhead.
- Able to push/pull objects.
- Able to move lighter objects.
- Able to work in wet, humid, extreme cold, and extreme heat conditions.
- Satisfactorily pass a criminal history background check.
- Satisfactorily pass a Motor Vehicle background check.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Maintain a clean, neat appearance.
- Dress in provided Riverbend branded shirts with khaki pants/shorts and clean, closed-toe footwear.
