About the Role
As an LPN, you directly contribute to patient lives by serving residents in a safe environment that promotes long-term recovery. You will collaborate with the Director of Nursing and Executive Director to establish and maintain a therapeutic environment and routine for residents.
Responsibilities
- Schedule appointments for psychological testing, doctor’s appointments, dental, and eye doctor appointments.
- Maintain and update all client medical records and documentation.
- Assist in transporting clients to necessary appointments.
- Maintain contact with community medical personnel.
- Manage medical charts for non-prescribed and prescription medication.
- Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) in purchasing medical supplies.
- Monitor all detoxification clients and initiate appropriate medical response to detoxification symptoms.
Requirements
- Valid Nursing license in the state seeking employment
- Comfortable working independently with the population when needed
- Compliance with MAT (Medication-Assisted Treatment) program protocols
