About the Role
Introba is seeking an Electrical Engineer passionate about innovation and sustainability to join a team developing innovative designs for high-performance buildings. Responsibilities
- Design and execution of projects ranging in size and complexity, focusing on building electrical systems for healthcare, sports, labs, commercial, industrial, and precinct level infrastructure.
- Participate in the design development, application, evaluation, recommendation, and specification of engineered systems or products for building and infrastructure electrical systems.
- Lead a design team through the entire project life cycle, supporting client meetings, collaborating with other disciplines and consultants, coordinating site service and electrical requirements, and performing field reviews.
- Take ownership for projects from start to finish, meeting project objectives with an emphasis on sustainable solutions and outcomes.
- Promote active, continuous learning and improvement within the team.
- Cultivate team members’ growth through feedback, coaching, and career development.
- Support Team Lead to plan projects and optimize resources.
- Manage project timelines, budget, and talented resources.
- Provide guidance for career development, supporting technical expertise or leadership aspirations.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience designing electrical systems in the building industry.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in designing direct to REVIT.
- Ability to read Architectural, Structural, and Electrical drawings with minimal supervision.
- Prior experience working on Airport fit out work is preferred.
- Knowledge of energy modeling and calculations.
- Past Revit experience.
- A growth mindset to constantly challenge the status quo and develop optimized solutions.
- Excellent advisory and reporting skills, with the ability to analyze information and communicate complex ideas clearly to less technical stakeholders.
- A collaborative nature, keen to share knowledge and drive excellence.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Strong report writing, communication, and consulting skills.
- Advanced interpersonal skills with clients and staff.
