About the Role
Join our team of Applications Engineers, working closely with sales and business development to meet or exceed sales quotas by providing technical leadership in qualifying, advancing, and closing sales opportunities. We seek experienced engineers with a strong technical background and customer-focused mentality to drive new growth areas within the Semiconductor/Electronics industries.
Responsibilities
- Interact with customers to understand their technical and operational requirements and recommend appropriate T&M solutions.
- Create proof-of-concepts with T&M NI hardware and software for demonstrations to customers.
- Build relationships and trust with customers and account managers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product feedback and contribute towards technical initiatives.
- Receive tailored technical and business training in the first six months to prepare for an AE role serving customers in the Semiconductor / Electronics Industry.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree with an engineering or computer science concentration.
- 2+ years of related work experience.
- Familiarity with electronic measurement equipment (e.g., Power supplies, DMMs, Scopes, function generators, etc.).
- Familiarity with high-level programming language (e.g., C, C++, C#, LabVIEW, Python, etc.).
- English language proficiency.
- Effective oral, written, presentation and communication skills.
- Effective collaboration skills.
- Availability to travel up to 25% of time throughout the Americas region.
- Work authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
- Not eligible for hire if you have temporary visas such as E, F-1 (including those with OPT or CPT), H-1, H-2, L-1, B, J or TN, or need sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future.
