About the Role

DME Express is experiencing significant growth and seeks drivers/technicians to deliver and pick up medical equipment, including wheelchairs, hospital beds, and oxygen, for Hospice Patients. The company is dedicated to providing excellent service and equipment to the Hospice field, driven by a commitment to service excellence and a passion for the industry.

Responsibilities

• Determine optimal daily routes, assemble and deliver equipment, and educate patients/families on proper use.
• Enforce all DOT and FDA regulations for Oxygen and DME within the service center.
• Maintain appropriate stock levels and ensure high cleanliness standards in the warehouse and delivery vehicle.
• Ensure Medical Equipment Technicians adhere to company and accreditation standards.
• Provide patient/client orientation and instructions on equipment use.
• Act as a company field representative, resolving patient/client problems.
• Complete delivery and pickup processes promptly and accurately via app.
• Assist in cleaning, disinfecting, and minor repair of equipment.
• Perform daily preventive maintenance on assigned vehicle.
• Maintain a neat, clean personal appearance.
• Promote teamwork, including assisting fellow drivers as needed.
• Perform warehouse and office maintenance tasks as required.
• Market the company positively and professionally.

Requirements

Work Type

• Required to work Saturday/Sundays on a predetermined, rotating schedule.
• Takes "on call" time on a predetermined, rotating basis during week and weekends.
