About the Role

Stake is seeking a Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist to join their People team. This role is crucial for finding and engaging exceptional talent across various functions during a significant growth phase. It's a sourcing-first position focused on building talent pools and scalable sourcing systems to enhance hiring processes.

Responsibilities

  • Build proactive talent pipelines across engineering, customer success, operations, product and business functions.
  • Identify and engage exceptional candidates through creative sourcing strategies across LinkedIn, communities, referrals, events and other networks.
  • Partner closely with talent partners and hiring managers to deeply understand role requirements, hiring context and what exceptional talent looks like.
  • Translate hiring briefs into thoughtful talent strategies, unpacking transferable skills and identifying adjacent profiles others may overlook.
  • Build structured talent maps and market insights across key competitor and talent landscapes.
  • Design and improve sourcing workflows using AI and automation to reduce manual work and improve speed, quality and candidate experience.
  • Leverage Zapier, Claude, and juicebox.ai to create smarter recruiting workflows and stronger candidate engagement.
  • Build and nurture warm talent pools for future hiring needs, creating thoughtful candidate touchpoints over time.
  • Deliver a responsive, high quality and human candidate experience from first interaction through to process coordination.
  • Continuously refine sourcing approaches, outreach messaging and operational processes based on feedback, data and evolving business needs.

Requirements

  • You genuinely love sourcing and have strong instincts for identifying exceptional talent across both obvious and non-obvious backgrounds.
  • You’re highly curious about AI and automation, and actively look for ways to improve workflows and candidate experience.
  • You have strong judgement and can quickly calibrate on talent quality, role requirements and hiring priorities.
  • You communicate clearly, move quickly and build trust through responsiveness, follow through and thoughtful collaboration.
  • You’re adaptable and coachable, able to absorb feedback quickly and refine your approach without losing momentum.
  • You enjoy partnering closely with talent partners, hiring managers and teammates to solve hiring challenges together.
