About the Role
Supports production staff by ensuring efficient and accurate material delivery throughout the facility.
Responsibilities
- Execute Oracle-directed material picks and confirm completion through handheld scanners
- Ensure accurate sub-inventory and locator movement, sustaining real-time material visibility
- Move raw materials, MIP, and consumables to the production floor per pick lists and BOM demand
- Conduct rapid response replenishment when shortages are identified
- Maintain material flow paths, staging organization, and FIFO standards
- Report material discrepancies, damaged goods, or mis-located inventory immediately
- Support cycle counting and root-cause investigation for inventory variances
- Place and verify MIP tags, barcode accuracy, and locator labeling compliance
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Inventory, and Production to prevent downtime
- Follow established safety, forklift, and PPE requirements at all times
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and report any issues to management
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent attendance and reliability
- Understanding of ERP inventory flow (Oracle preferred)
- Strong accuracy in scanning and transaction confirmation
- Knowledge of locating systems, material zones, and pick logic
- Problem-solving abilities related to shortages and data errors
- Effective communication across cross-functional teams
- Proficient with time management, scheduling, and organizational skills
- Strong problem solving, attention to detail, and communication skills
- Must be flexible and adapt to changes in responsibilities and environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Frequent bending, walking, pushing carts, and equipment operation
- Ability to operate pallet jacks or forklifts (certified)
- Must be able to pass a 7 Panel Drug Screen
