About the Role
This Developer Relations Engineering role focuses on events and community, explaining Langfuse in person to technical audiences. The goal is to drive product understanding and marketing momentum by organizing, attending, and speaking at various technical gatherings, ensuring excellent, repeatable, and measurable event execution.
Responsibilities
- Represent Langfuse at conferences, meetups, workshops, customer, partner, and community events across Europe and the US.
- Speak on Langfuse and AI engineering topics to experienced developers and technical leaders.
- Conduct live demos and technical sessions on LLM engineering workflows (tracing, evals, prompt management, datasets, metrics).
- Build and maintain field-ready materials: demo flows, workshop runbooks, talk abstracts, event landing pages, follow-up emails, signup flows, and conference assets.
- Identify and evaluate events for attendance, sponsorship, or speaking opportunities.
- Organize Langfuse-hosted technical gatherings: meetups, workshops, and dinners.
- Partner with ClickHouse field marketing, sales, solutions, product marketing, and engineering teams.
- Translate event learnings into improved messaging, demos, documentation, talks, customer stories, and product feedback.
- Own the end-to-end event loop: planning, goals, run-of-show, content, execution, notes, and follow-up actions.
- Develop repeatable field motions for events.
Requirements
- Engineer, former engineer, or deeply technical operator capable of explaining software to experienced developers.
- Eager for significant travel and field presence.
- Proficient in delivering technical talks, running live demos, and handling unscripted questions from engineers.
- Able to manage practical event details while maintaining the technical narrative.
- Passionate about developer experience, open source, AI engineering, and community quality.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and capable of independent decision-making.
- Strong written and spoken English.
- Experience in DevRel, product marketing engineering, solutions engineering, field engineering, developer advocacy, or technical community roles.
- Experience speaking at developer conferences, meetups, workshops, webinars, or technical customer events.
- Experience creating technical content, demos, videos, talks, open source projects, or educational material.
- Deep knowledge in AI engineering, LLM observability, evals, agents, or developer tools.
- Experience collaborating with sales, field marketing, partner teams, or startup GTM teams.
- Ability to write code for building, debugging, and maintaining demos or workshop material.
