About the Role

This technical product advocacy role involves understanding Langfuse deeply, using the product hands-on, and explaining it effectively. The Product Marketing Engineer will create technical product communication, including explanations, demos, examples, and documentation, to help AI engineering teams understand observability, evaluations, and prompt management. The role requires close collaboration with both the product and the market to translate features into value and improve product communication based on user feedback.

Responsibilities

  • Become a Langfuse subject matter expert across tracing, evals, prompt management, datasets, metrics, self-hosting, and the broader AI engineering workflow
  • Create product and technical marketing content: blog posts, product deep dives, guides, cookbooks, benchmarks, demos, webpages, docs, conference talks, social posts, launch videos
  • Translate technical features and nuance into clear value propositions for developers and teams
  • Work closely with product, engineering, and the ClickHouse product marketing team to launch new capabilities with sharp positioning and useful technical proof
  • Make documentation, guides, and examples the best in the category
  • Build demo apps, code examples, and workshop material that users can run
  • Speak at, organize, and attend high-signal in-person events for AI engineers, including conferences, meetups, workshops, customer sessions, and ClickHouse field moments
  • Turn events into reusable product education: talks, demos, workshop repos, follow-up content, customer questions, sales learnings, and better positioning
  • Help define content strategy and roadmap based on product priorities, customer questions, community signals, search demand, and current AI engineering trends
  • Conduct competitive and market analysis across LLM observability, evals, agent observability, prompt management, and related developer tooling
  • Use metrics and feedback to understand what is working, improve what is not, and recommend next steps
  • Spend time with users, community members, sales, solutions, and support to ground product communication in real customer problems

Requirements

  • Be an engineer, data scientist, developer advocate, product marketing engineer, or technical product marketer capable of deep product understanding
  • Possess 5+ years of relevant experience across engineering, technical product marketing, DevRel, data science, technical writing, developer tools, or a similar technical field
  • Write exceptionally well, making complex technical ideas simple without being shallow
  • Code sufficiently to build examples, inspect SDKs, understand traces, and maintain credibility with strong engineers
  • Advocate for a technical product effectively in person and in writing, explaining both how it works and why it matters
  • Demonstrate taste in good content and strong opinions about useful technical writing
  • Own projects end to end, from initial input to shipped public asset
  • Collaborate effectively across product, engineering, marketing, sales, solutions, support, and ClickHouse counterparts
  • Be curious about AI engineering and stay current with developer builds
