About the Role

Manage unit and revenue goals for Coronary products and CathWorks in an assigned district, supporting cardiovascular sales and marketing objectives. Champion healthcare access and equity, leading with purpose to break down innovation barriers in a connected, compassionate world. Seek to meet customer expectations by striving for reliability and quality in products, processes, and systems through accountability and action.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell Medtronic's Coronary products/CathWorks and services to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Develop, build, and strengthen long-term relationships with stakeholders including hospitals, physicians, and key opinion leaders.
  • Pursue leads, assess needs, and provide product services to maximize benefits from Medtronic's Coronary products/CathWorks.
  • Promote expanding services of Medtronic's Coronary products/CathWorks to existing and competitive customers.
  • Conduct and/or evaluate market research on customer and competitor activities.
  • Develop and/or implement market development plans/strategies.
  • Communicate customer feedback on new or modified products to R&D, Operations, and Marketing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant sales experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant sales experience.
  • Reside within the assigned territory.
  • Drive to multiple accounts throughout the region.
  • Valid driver's license for state of residency and active vehicle insurance policy.
  • Possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment (for roles below Principal level).
  • Able to lift 20 pounds.
  • Extended periods of computer-based work.
  • Hearing, sight, and speaking ability.
  • Ability to use computers.
  • Ability to travel extensively by car and plane.
  • Sitting, standing 8 hours/day.
  • Wear lead apron for long periods of time (2-3 hours on average).
  • Ability to operate a moving vehicle.
  • Ability to work in Cath Labs and/or O.R. with radiation exposure.
  • Ability to conduct company business outside of typical Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm work schedule.
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside the U.S., a degree satisfying 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Skills

  • Medtronic experience.
  • Successful medical sales record, preferably with pacing or stent products.
  • Experience with sales and personnel management functions.
  • Knowledge of pacing or interventional cardiology customer base.
  • Additional experience in marketing, training, or technical services.

Location

  • Remote (reside within assigned territory)
  • Travel to multiple accounts throughout the region

Salary/Compensations

  • $170,000 - $170,000 USD (U.S. excl. PR)
  • Eligible for annual long-term incentive plan
