About the Role
This role involves providing contract management support to the Events, Live Production & Entertainment (LP&E), and Broadcasting Departments. Reporting to the Associate Counsel, Media & Events, the position will include drafting, research, contract analysis, and other projects, as needed, in support of a variety of commercial arrangements.
Responsibilities
- Review and draft agreements for events, talent, and performance.
- Liaise with internal client teams to advise on contract negotiations, ensure policy adherence, and support third-party arrangements.
- Track and maintain commercial agreement term expirations and advise on renewal/amendment processes.
- Oversee and manage two Legal Coordinators, providing supervision and feedback.
- Collaborate with Legal Records Administrator for proper maintenance of Events, LP&E, and Broadcasting contracts.
Requirements
- Minimum five years of paralegal or comparable experience.
- Minimum five years of people-management experience.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong commitment to quality work product, organizational ethics, integrity, and compliance.
- Experience independently drafting and negotiating commercial agreements under attorney supervision.
- Ability to handle highly confidential information discreetly and professionally.
- Ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple tasks, learn new tasks, and meet deadlines.
