About the Role

The Dietary Worker is responsible for preparing and/or building food items while providing customer service and adhering to food safety, food handling, and sanitation procedures. Essential functions and responsibilities may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and builds food items on beltline assembly line for patients
• Properly stores food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
• Replenishes food items and ensures product is stocked to appropriate levels.
• Delivers patients meals to units and pick up soiled carts from units
• Maintains general knowledge of therapeutic diets
• Work in warewashing area cleaning soiled equipment
• Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards coworkers, customers and guests.
• Adheres to ARAMARK safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation standards
• Maintains compliance with ARAMARK’s standards of operation.
• Adheres to ARAMARK’s Business Conduct Policy at all times.

Requirements

• Previous food service experience preferred
• Must be able to obtain food safety certification
• Demonstrates excellent customer service skills
• Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 25 lbs.
