About the Role

Summerhill Market is seeking reliable, organized, and hard-working individuals to join their Railside Commissary team as a Shipper/Receiver. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth distribution and delighting customers with high-quality products.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and verify incoming deliveries and invoices.
• Prepare outgoing shipments to store locations and suppliers.
• Inspect products for quality, accuracy, and condition.
• Organize and maintain backroom and storage areas.
• Operate pallet jacks or other warehouse equipment safely.
• Support inventory counts and cycle checks as needed.
• Collaborate with the Commissary production team to ensure smooth distribution.

Requirements

• Experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable, punctual, and organized work habits.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid forklift certification is an asset but not required.
• Team-oriented mindset and strong communication skills.
