About the Role
Summerhill Market is seeking a reliable and hardworking Full-Time PM Delivery Driver to join our Logistics team and support evening deliveries. The role involves safely loading, transporting, and delivering products from our Commissary to our Bakery Production Kitchen and retail store locations, including hands-on tasks like loading, unloading, and operating carts.
Responsibilities
- Complete evening delivery routes to 1 Bakery Production Kitchen and 4 retail stores across the GTA
- Load and unload products, including hand bombing, pushing carts, and stocking into designated areas
- Verify accuracy of orders, invoices, and store checklists prior to each delivery
- Ensure safe handling of all food products and packaging
- Operate company vehicles safely in accordance with traffic laws and company policies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery truck; report any mechanical concerns
- Communicate delays, shortages, or issues to Commissary leadership
- Assist with warehouse loading, staging, and organization as needed
- Uphold Summerhill Market’s standards for professionalism, quality, and service
Requirements
- Valid G-Class driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 40–50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks
- Strong time management skills and reliability
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail
- Positive, professional attitude with strong communication skills
