About the Role
This role involves providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and presentable store, restocking and merchandising products, upholding safety standards, and fostering a joyful shopping environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service, greeting each person individually.
- Maintain a presentable and clean store, continuously restocking merchandise and cleaning.
- Check in and merchandise products as assigned.
- Maintain safety standards, health codes, and clear walkways.
- Foster a fun and joyful environment.
Requirements
- Sales experience in a retail or food service environment.
- Love and knowledge of toys, books, games, collectibles, and candy.
- Artistic skills, merchandising, and creativity.
- Possess a cheery and positive disposition.
- Work and communicate well with all staff.
- Uphold respect for yourself, fellow co-workers, and customers.
- Ability to lift and maneuver fixtures and products as necessary.
- Ability to stand for the majority of an 8-hour shift.
- Ability to work 40 hours/week, 5 days/week, including a mix of opening and closing shifts between 10 am and 10 pm.
