About the Role

Seeking a dedicated and compassionate General Psychiatrist to join our outpatient medical team. This role involves providing comprehensive mental health care, including assessments, diagnosis, medication management, and therapeutic interventions for a diverse patient population. The focus is on delivering high-quality psychiatric care in a supportive outpatient environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments for patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management, psychotherapy, and other therapeutic modalities.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide psychoeducation to patients and families regarding mental health conditions, treatment options, and self-management strategies.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, social workers, therapists, psychiatric NPs, and primary care providers, to coordinate patient care.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation of all patient interactions in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
  • Participate in clinical meetings, case discussions, and continuing education activities to maintain and enhance clinical skills.
  • Uphold ethical standards, confidentiality, and compliance with all regulatory and organizational policies.
  • Participate in planning and administrative decisions affecting program’s treatment approaches, technology, and quality of care.
  • Work on integration of behavioral health and primary care through a Collaboration Model.
  • Achieve productivity standards as set forth and outlined by department.
  • Perform psychiatric reviews of charts and treatment plans.
  • May supervise psychiatric NPs.
  • Perform other job duties as required by manager/supervisor.

Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
  • Valid state medical license.
  • Current documentation of Basic Life Support.
  • Ability to fluently speak, read, and write English.

Salary/Compensations

  • $285,229.20 - $332,260.24
