About the Role

This position entails working with various product teams across Equinix to help migrate their current authorization strategy to a new IAM platform. An ideal candidate would have 7+ years’ experience in the Identity Access Management field, excellent communication and coordination skills, and a background in common programming languages such as Java, NodeJS, and Go.

Responsibilities

  • Understand IAM basics (OAUTH2, ABAC, RBAC, Federation) and integrate them into code.
  • Use AI to analyze codebases and understand authorization schemes.
  • Collaborate with product teams to migrate legacy authorization systems to the new IAM stack, ensuring seamless customer migration.
  • Drive migration efforts, including architecture, coding, QA planning, and requirements capture for the new IAM platform.
  • Create written documentation for complex systems and component interactions.
  • Focus on quality, emphasizing solid unit test development.
  • Quickly understand, absorb, and alter existing product codebases.
  • Apply a Product Manager mindset to analyze use cases, translate to implementation, and negotiate gap solutions.
  • Act as a consultant for internal and external stakeholders during migration, potentially updating external product codebases.
  • Design customer-focused systems and software increments to satisfy specific use cases.
