About the Role
Supports and administers organizational security plans and operations, executing procedures to provide physical protection for personnel and company property, mitigate threats, and conduct loss prevention. Ensures compliance with required codes and regulations, compiles security reports, investigates incidents, and supports SAP/Collateral requirements. The role involves NISPOM implementation and serving as the Alternate Contractor SAP Security Officer (ACSSO), Alternate FSO (AFSO), and Alternate COMSEC member, ensuring daily security compliance with USG instructions and collaborating with customers, security management, and program staff to meet Special Program security needs.
Responsibilities
- Ensure security policies and procedures comply with Government standards
- Provide security guidance regarding program and operations
- Ensure compliance with applicable government and company regulations
- Develop, obtain approval for, and implement security policies and procedures specific to the program
- Provide solutions to Program Security challenges and provide notifications
- Administer security indoctrinations and debriefings
- Conduct security reviews and self-inspections
- Manage administrative work including personnel processing, visitor control, conducting program related investigations, and resolving Program Security issues
- Assist with providing classification guidance to employees
- Develop and provide security education and awareness training
- Conduct security briefings and program indoctrinations/debriefings
- Investigate security incidents
- Support personnel security, physical security, cybersecurity, communication security (COMSEC), document control, and visitor control
- Respond to after-hours alarms
- Perform initial access eligibility determinations and generate PARs
- Assist with internal self-inspections, Staff Assistance Visits, and Customer Security Compliance Inspections and Assessments
- Maintain classified material accountability records, including inventory lists, receipt and transmittal records, and final disposition documentation
- Prepare and maintain prime and subcontract DD254s
- Ensure all classified materials are marked and controlled in accordance with contractual requirements
- Review operational requirements and system specification documents to ensure applicable security requirements are addressed and incorporated into security processes
- Respond to walk-in customers and perform professional security services as required
- Comply with all company security and data protection/usage policies and procedures
- Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form
- Do not divulge any information or afford access to other employees not having a need-to-know
- Do not divulge information outside company without management approval
- Access and store all government and proprietary information electronically on company provided resources
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship required due to U.S. Government contract requirements
- Preferred current Top Secret/SCI eligibility with current investigation date
- DoD Secret Clearance eligibility with investigation current within the last 3-5 years
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Clearance and all Special Program accesses
- Experience in implementation of security requirements and administering DoDM 5205.07 V 1-4
- Desired experience in the implementation of Intelligence Community Directives for SAP/SCI programs
- Must be well organized

- Strong customer service, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

- Preferred completion of SAP Orientation, SAP Mid-level Course (CDSE)
- Competency level with Microsoft Office Suite programs, Excel, Word Doc, and Power Point Applications
- Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to perform prolonged standing or sitting
- Ability to walk, traverse, or move around the workplace, including climbing stairs or ladders
- Ability to work in varied conditions like cold, heat, or noise
- Ability to use hands or fingers to operate machinery, grasp tools, or handle fine motor tasks
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouching, or crawl
- Ability to listen for noise, active hearing, speaking, and sight for visual inspections

- Working knowledge of CV2/JADE, DISS, Scattered Castles, LICNET, CORE
- Professional Certifications (FSO, Industrial Security Pro, SPSC, CDSE, etc.)
- Able to articulate, plan, direct, and evaluate situations to make appropriate recommendations and take actions beneficial to the program and the company
- Ability to display tactful and self-discipline necessary to interface effectively with customers, vendors, all levels of management, employees, and the general public
