About the Role
This 3-year apprenticeship, starting September 2026, is for individuals seeking a career in finance and reinsurance operations. The apprentice will support the Reinsurance Operations team with account administration and validation, while pursuing the Kaplan Level 4 AAT apprenticeship.
Responsibilities
- Process reinsurance accounts, including data entry, preparation of treaty claims statements, and input of financial entries.
- Ensure financial validity, data quality, and adherence to treaty terms for all processed claim settlement requests.
- Support the Reinsurance Operations team in administering client portfolios, ensuring data adheres to treaty terms and conditions.
- Maintain quality and consistency of process standards and operational controls.
- Develop and maintain good relations with colleagues and clients.
- Participate in projects to improve operational processes and data quality.
- Perform ad-hoc administrative tasks.
Requirements
- Level 3 qualifications (A-Levels, BTEC, or equivalent).
- GCSE's Grades 9 - 4 (or equivalent).
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
