About the Role

Horizons is seeking a school-bus driver who has his/her air-brake certification to transport students to and from school and other sites within designated routes – and to ensure the safety of the student passengers while in a school vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Transport students to and from school and other sites within designated routes.
• Ensure the safety of student passengers while in a school vehicle.
• Operate a school bus safely.
• Meet established bus schedules.
• Conduct safety and operational inspections of assigned vehicle daily.
• Report needed mechanical repairs when necessary.
• Service buses with gas, diesel fuel, and oil.
• Check and fill tires and batteries when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicle to ensure safe operating condition.

Requirements

• Must hold valid CDL with appropriate endorsement.
• Must have air-brake certification.
