About the Role

Support a nationwide government program by partnering with a government representative to assist USCIS Application Support Center (ASC) operations. Complete biometric registration for applicants seeking legal immigration to the United States by traveling to their location for mobile biometrics. Work onsite at the ASC when not traveling. Amentum provides all required job training. Travel to various nationwide locations as directed by USCIS, under the supervision of the ASC Site Supervisor and/or Regional Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Process applicants for biometrics capture
  • Assist applicants with ASC processing forms
  • Review immigration and biometrics documentation
  • Perform biometrics processing, including capturing electronic fingerprints, photographs, and signatures
  • Proof and check work for accuracy and completeness, maintaining a 98% efficiency rating for all processed forms
  • Provide the highest level of customer service to all applicants
  • Track processing time for each applicant
  • Safeguard all documents
  • Perform additional administrative duties as needed
  • Perform backup responsibilities as Receptionist, Biometric Technician, and Site Supervisor

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a government-issued suitability clearance
  • US Citizenship required for government approval
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to travel locally 50%-100% of the time to fulfill contract requirements
  • Ability to travel up to 100% outside ASC site area
  • Regular travel to multiple locations within assigned routes, including nursing homes, residential homes, hospitals, or other locations as determined by USCIS
  • Ability to work in varied environments, including urban, suburban, and rural settings, and facilities with differing levels of accessibility
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules, travel routes, and customer needs, sometimes with short notice
  • Willingness to work in diverse weather conditions and environments that may present physical, emotional, or situational challenges
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 75% of assigned work hours
  • Ability to work in a high-paced environment with the public
  • Ability to act as the primary independent point of contact with the customer
  • Maintain professional conduct and confidentiality while representing the organization in the community
  • Ability to carry/transport 30 lbs
