About the Role

Peloton is seeking a Director of International Commercial Excellence to define and shape international commercial standards. This role acts as a collaborative bridge between global functional sales excellence and local market leadership, ensuring international growth remains integrated within the global matrix organization.

Responsibilities

  • Establish commercial and sales guardrails to ensure local strategies align with global plans and margin requirements.
  • Provide an objective global perspective on local market decisions.
  • Define and implement best practices for partnership management, including QBRs and JBPs.
  • Partner with GMs to navigate complex negotiations and 3P retail partnerships.
  • Provide tactical guidance and mentorship to Sales Managers to drive global best practices.
  • Serve as the lead interface for Global Sales Solutions, Retail Marketing, and Supply Chain/Ops.
  • Synthesize data-driven insights to identify operational efficiencies and cross-market opportunities.
  • Collaborate with GMs and finance partners to build robust business cases for local investments.

Requirements

  • Experience in a global, matrixed organization, preferably US-headquartered.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and build consensus without direct line authority.
  • Proven track record in running omnichannel businesses with experience in distribution, marketing, and retail operations.
  • Experience developing structured frameworks and operational processes within a commercial or sales function.
  • Ability to formulate logical, data-driven business insights and build complex business cases.
  • Highly effective at building relationships and working cross-functionally across diverse groups.
  • Strong understanding of local consumer trends and ability to translate global strategy into local execution.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity in a dynamic matrix environment.
  • Experience in fitness, consumer electronics, technology, premium consumer brands, or subscription businesses.
  • Experience working within a multi-national organization with a US-based headquarters.
