About the Role
The Production Operator sets up ware on lehrs and conveyors, dislodges ware on straight line equipment, adjusts the flow of empty cartons, and visually inspects and discards defective ware.
Responsibilities
- Understand and ensure carton quality requirements are met
- Attend palletizers, supplying pallets and tier sheets
- Operate controls to ensure proper tier formation and transport
- Visually inspect ware and component parts, discarding defective items
- Rotate or transfer among departments as directed
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Previous experience in an industrial environment (preferred)
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, holidays, and weekends
- Ability to regularly lift 25 lbs
