About the Role
Lead high-impact commercial analytics engagements, serving as a key client contact and guiding teams to solve complex business challenges across the product lifecycle. This role involves end-to-end project execution, translating client needs into analytical approaches, overseeing deliverable development, and ensuring high-quality insights. Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver actionable solutions in field team strategy, incentive compensation, and brand performance analytics, while managing multiple engagements and contributing to capability growth.
Responsibilities
- Serve as day-to-day client lead for commercial analytics engagements, managing communication, expectations, and deliverables
- Translate client business questions into structured analytical approaches for field team strategy, incentive compensation, and brand analytics
- Oversee design and execution of analyses, including sales team sizing, segmentation, targeting, performance reporting, and incentive compensation plan design
- Ensure high-quality, accurate, and insight-driven deliverables, including executive-ready presentations and tools
- Manage project plans, timelines, workstreams, and stakeholder coordination across multiple engagements
- Proactively identify risks, scope changes, and client needs, and recommend solutions for project success
- Lead and mentor junior team members (Associates, Consultants, Senior Consultants) in project execution and professional development
- Provide guidance on analytical methodologies, tool development, and problem-solving approaches
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment with strong communication and accountability
- Support staffing decisions and manage team capacity across engagements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Strategy, Insights, Analytics, Data Science) to deliver integrated solutions
- Contribute to the development of best practices, reusable modules, and scalable analytics solutions
- Support internal initiatives including training, process improvements, and knowledge sharing
- Model strong project leadership behaviors: structured problem-solving, quality control, and effective communication
- Contribute to existing client engagement growth by identifying opportunities to extend or deepen project work
- Support proposal development, providing input on scope, approach, and timelines
- Participate in internal knowledge sharing and capability-building initiatives within Commercial Analytics
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Advanced degree (MS, MBA, or equivalent) preferred
- Degree in a quantitative, scientific, or business-related field preferred
- 6–8 years of experience in commercial analytics, consulting, or related roles within life sciences
- Strong experience in sales analytics, field team planning, incentive compensation design, or brand analytics
- Experience working with life sciences datasets (e.g., claims, sales, call activity, or patient-level data) required
- Prior experience managing projects and leading teams preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required
- Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) preferred
- Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, VBA) is a plus
- Strong structured problem-solving and analytical capabilities
- Strong client management and stakeholder communication skills
- Ability to independently manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities

Salary/Compensations
- Minimum of $160,000
- Annual discretionary performance bonus
